Angela McKenzie (BFA) is a multimedia artist living and working in the beautiful Bay of Plenty region. She has exhibited her work throughout New Zealand but is currently showing her unique pieces only through opening her studio to the public from time to time. Her abstract paintings explore a variety of techniques, materials and methods to produce a visual explosion where colours merge, ambiguous forms appear, and intricate details create depth to works that continue to unfold to the viewer.

83. CLIVE ARMSTRONG
Clive Armstrong creates distinctive sculptures that are cleverly crafted from recycled and panel steel. He explores many themes through his art making and his life experiences reverberate the pieces he produces. From growing up on a farm, working as a ‘roadie’ for a band in his younger years to time spent exploring the wilds of New Zealand these moments have all inspired works that tell a story. Think Barry Crump in art form!
